I have been using it on 1Dsmk2 since the summer of 2022. What I want to note right away is the new stabilization system. I was skeptical about this system until I tried it. In short, the new system allows you to compensate for two types of fluctuations at once. Angular and Parallel. (angular - tilts, parallel - vertical camera shift) In practice, this gives a chic result, the lens has an angular velocity sensor that cooperates with an acceleration sensor - a tandem of two comrades allows you to get a gain of as much as 4 stops in practice! Now this makrik has essentially replaced the staff lens - focusing speed, convenient focal length and stub give amazing results in practice, allowing you to instantly switch from shooting beetle paws to some outdoor scene that requires a quick reaction. With him, I really felt what handheld night shooting is. Walking through the city at night without a tripod with ISO3200 is no longer a nightmare. With hands, it’s really possible to get sharp shots up to 1 / 5 sec. About 1/50-1/10 is easy. 10 shots out of 10 are sharp. So to all those who doubt the new stub system - I inform you that this is not science fiction and not marketing, but a working system for mega results.
