Review on 🔇 Silence is Bliss! BK030 Pure Rock Slim 2, 130W TDP, CPU Cooler by Jason Robinson

PROS:* Excellent cooling performance. My i7-6700 stays between 19-23°C idle and 49-52°C under load.* Very quiet in normal use, even full fan speed causes a pleasant hum. (Of course it is included in Fractal Define C with all kinds of noise reduction). :* The cooling fins are very thin, so if you have to grab a piece of the cooler to get enough leverage to attach the fan clips, you have to be *very careful* lest it become a piece of hot dog for your fingers. The fins are also very flexible and if you don't perfectly fit the fan clips into the fin gaps you will likely bend them. None of the above issues have ever been a problem with other budget coolers from Cooler Master, for example. *Pre-applied paste is garbage. I've used 3 of these fans in 3 recent builds and each also came with small flakes/skeins of cardboard fiber stuck in the paste. The above temperatures were achieved with the Arctic Cooling MX-4, the standard paste was around 5-10°C hotter at all times. FINAL THOUGHTS: This cooler is a no-brainer for price and performance. My first use of one of these was to replace an outdated Corsair H55 that was having some pumping issues, and I was quite surprised to see a $30 budget silent cooler that basically works with AIO's closed-loop performance boost keeps pace. Just be extremely careful during installation due to the sharpness and flexibility of the cooling fins, don't use the standard pre-applied paste and you have an absolute winner on your hands.
