Solid build, definitely worth the money. I'm a small guy, only 120 pounds, but with all the gear and gear attached to me, I probably weigh around 160 pounds. When I first used it, it did what it was supposed to do. I was about 40 feet at the height of an elm tree, clipped some large 22-26 inch diameter branches that got struck by lightning, lost my footing and fell 2 feet, slowing and stopping my fall before the fall hit my second second point reached. The fall would stop. So yes, I definitely recommend this product.
