I was doubtful at first how this would work. I found steady un-switched AC power from behind my dishwasher. Basically map out the light path in your head before starting. Also be sure your surfaces are clean and dry like it says in the instructions. Now that I'm done, my wife wants another set on the kitchen island and the pots & pans cabinets. Just be sure you have electrical power within 3 feet of the dimmer. If not then you'll have to use an additional wire to carefully extend out your power feed. Now that I'm done, it's pretty cool to be able to see really well under the sink. I used good Velcro to stick the dimmer switch to the cabinet side there ( not included with this LED kit ). I just hope the LED light strips stay in place over the long tests of time. We'll see.
