As a professional caddy, I usually prefer to carry my bag rather than push a cart, especially on hilly trails. In fact, four years ago I gave away a very powerful push cart because it was very tiring to use on my home course. But a couple of times this winter I really wanted a trolley with an umbrella and drink holder, and I found a good solution. This trolley has 3 wheels (British & Irish"), is very light and has the standard features of much more expensive brands. Here is my list of positives and (very few) negatives: POSITIVES: 1. When loaded with a medium sized tote bag and 14 pins, it rolls easily and effortlessly.2.Despite its relatively narrow wheelbase, this cart is stable on slopes.During my testing, it never threatened to tip over.3.The included cup holder fits a standard 12" can. 16 oz, 16 oz water bottle or my standard sized insulated travel mug.4.The scorecard holder attaches to the frame with a strong magnet and stays in place throughout the round. The scorecard is easily removed and replaced with clear plastic sheeting to protect against rain.5.All three wheels attach/detach easily and securely and snap into place 6. When the wheels are removed the frame folds fairly flat; When disassembled, the trolley easily fits into the trunk of a car or cargo hold.7. The wheel brake keeps the trolley on the mountain quite well until the umbrella is attached in strong winds. (See comments below for this.) NEGATIVES: 1. I don't like the rubber straps that attach the golf bag to the cart. The top and bottom straps have two tiny metal pins that line up with the holes in the other straps. It's a very flimsy device, although I only use short elastic cords to ensure my bag is secure. 2. While I like how the umbrella holder rotates parallel to the trolley's handle when not in use, the clamping screw can loosen due to the umbrella rocking back and forth, causing the umbrella to transition from vertical to horizontal. Also, the handle tube is very narrow, which may damage the soft handle.3. The braking system consists of a metal pin protruding from a plastic pedal. When the pedal is lifted, it snaps into the plastic teeth on the left rear wheel. I can see how easy it would be to "break the brake" if you're not careful.4. This trolley comes with a very light nylon storage bag that is unlikely to last through a season of heavy use. I would recommend using a medium sized duffel bag to store the wheels and scorecard holder, especially if the wheels aren't completely clean after a round. , light wheelbarrow. It's perfect for casual golfers who play on relatively flat courses and don't have to push a 30-pound cart all day.
