Review on ๐Ÿน Habitrail OVO Dwarf Hamster Cage: Ultimate Small Animal Habitat with Essential Hamster Accessories by Lauren Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful. Liked the design and features. More than expected. Suitable for 4 dwarf hamsters. Just don't give up.

I looked at almost every hamster habitat available in Revain before really falling in love with this cute, simple habitat. As an adult who has dwarf hamsters, most of the designs are too bright in color and appear very childish. But it was perfect. At first I was concerned that it would be too small for the 4 hamsters I adopted from my friend, but it turned out to be MUCH larger than expected. Behind the wheels was a whole living and play space, which I didn't notice when I bought it and thought that in front of the wheels there wouldn't be enough space for hamsters to move. It turned out even better than expected. At first I liked it because I saw how easy it was for people to add new habitats and I figured if there wasn't enough space I could always add something. It was a bit difficult to assemble. I misunderstood the instructions several times and thought I had lost a (non-existent) part of the water dispenser. But for how little there was for it, it made it full of potential. If I don't like the top, I shouldn't wear it. I can trade I can remove the wheels to have more space for accessories. I had fun thinking up all these ways to mix things up. My hamsters love this cage. They liked to sleep in tubes, in the water area, in food. It was a bit difficult for the kids to climb the pipes but they gradually learned it. The depth of this cage allows me to put a lot of bedding in it and they love to burrow in it. The only thing was that she was a little prone to a free fall. My cat knocked it over when trying to lift my bookshelf and it fell to pieces. Luckily they are all safe because the water area hasn't collapsed and they are ALL sleeping in it. The cat could not get to her in any way (the fall still frightened her), but as a result, a crack formed on the feeder. Although it wasn't too noticeable. I would definitely make sure they get expansions once I find a better place to put them. PS Cleaning the tubes isn't that bad. You can't stain the vertical ones, and the short ones are short enough to be rubbed down on both ends. The ports collect dirt and you'll have to take it apart from time to time to wipe it off. But overall it was easy since you can use two levels.
