Pro and what I like to use: Useful for longer veggies. The bark is thicker than on smaller ones. Like a sweet potato peeler, it removes all imperfections in one pass of the blade. A few passes over carrots or zucchini to make lettuce strips etc. Cons: Too big and long for something small. I'm used to *quickly* using a smaller knife of the same shape. I prefer quick passes to slow and tedious ones - and here you have to do everything slowly or you'll cut yourself.
