Excellent product in office electronics

I use it to scan books in bookstores, thrift stores etc. It's convenient, it's easy for my thumb to press the scan button and I can better protect against accidental oversight blow. It usually scans on the first try with no problems, but sometimes I have to rescan a few times for it to beep, but that's more due to the scan angle, slight glare from the glossy cover, barcode damage, etc. than the scanner itself I would like to switch off the signal tone, but I couldn't find a function for it on the net.
