My wife has an interest in all kinds of arts and crafts, especially card making. She loves to create original designs and then add color and size with stickers. This set is great for these uses and more. There were two packs of stickers - one was mainly blue butterflies, the other was mainly green. Each contained two stickers, each with 20 different designs, for a total of 40 stickers. Butterflies looked pretty realistic. I have learned some; others looked like the butterflies I had seen, but the colors were different. Since this set was made in China, it's possible some of the other ones were types I wasn't familiar with. Some of them were clearly fictional, including a couple that looked like flying watermelons! The ink used for these stickers is permanent and the plastic is waterproof. Unlike paper stickers, they allowed her to reuse stickers applied to glass, plastic, and other non-porous surfaces. The clean background made it easy for my wife to create beautiful greeting cards with butterflies attached to floral images and the like. She could stick them on envelopes as postage stamps or accent her scrapbook pages and stationery. It was quite difficult to remove the back cover. Several times I caught my lover with a sticker right in front of her face, peeking around the edges and trying to get her nails stuck between the front and back. It would help if the back was colored instead of transparent like stickers. The price is right. Given the quantity and quality of these stickers, I think that's quite appropriate. For just 80 butterflies, you'll pay about $7, or about nine cents each. They're great for older kids, crafters, or people who enjoy using butterflies as decorations.
