I've been a fan of cookware for decades. I have grandmothers that I've been using since I inherited the set from her in 1980. I bought it to add to my collection and unfortunately the steel is noticeably thinner. It still works but I'm wondering if it will last as long as my old cookware. It's sad that some executives, thinking they can make more money and save on quality, don't pass that higher return on to their employees, but are likely to pay the CEO more money to get a bigger boat. I could go on and on about how this is a recurring theme in most products currently manufactured, but I digress.
