Would work for a beach umbrella, but not my patio umbrella with a crank open
I have received this and quickly noticed that it won’t work for my umbrella that cranks open. May work better for beach umbrellas that don’t require the crank to open it. It comes in a solid ring and not hinged or two pieces so that I can place it around the pole and then tighten it above the crank and where it’d be useful to hang a towel or small light .I would have to dismantle the actual umbrella because I can’t slide it up from the bottom. Too inexpensive to worry about returning.
- Will use on vacation. Looks like it will work just fine.
- The hooks may not fit securely on all types of beach umbrellas.
