Works great for my PS4 but it's a serious design flaw.

excellent picture quality. Does what it should. However, for PS4, you need to use USB port for power supply. However, the design flaw is that the USB cable is half the length of the HDMI cable. Because it's designed to connect to an old monitor with a VGA port, these older monitors don't have USB ports. So you have to plug it into the PS4's USB port, effectively halving its length. You need to buy a USB extension cable.
