I live in a panel house like "ship". The adapter is located at a distance of 5 m from the router (netgear 3800). There are 3 obstacles between the devices: 2 solid concrete walls and a two-chamber glass package. The signal level is shown as "excellent". Launched (on Windows 7 64) simultaneously broadcasting video in 4k resolution over a local network and a youtube video clip from the Internet, also 4k. Brakes, lags, disconnections were not noticed. These adapters come in different versions. I have version 5.0. I installed the driver from the CD that came with it. I recommend to buy.
