Sotion has greatly improved their Foot Air Massager. I bought it for my parents as my father has knee problems and my mother has leg cramps and problems in general. It really helps my mom when she stands or walks for too long. A foot massager and a hot bath help her a lot. It's a plug-in device with VERY quiet motors that doesn't bother at all. This second generation model offers better and more breathable material than the first generation model and is more comfortable to wear. Improved Velcro and calf flap holders are a nice feature. The light fabric finish helps the owner or assistant see the panels easily, unlike first-generation models and competitors in a single color. The foot air massager is well marked with L and R so you can easily see which foot needs to be attached correctly. Other competitors have markings in the form of small marks on the trunk or the letters L/R embossed on a piece of plastic that are not easily distinguishable. This improved model now has a 20 minute run time with an auto shut off. That's 5 minutes more than the previous model and other competitors. The control box display will turn off after about 20 seconds, which is handy if you use it at night or in low light conditions. It's easy to turn it back on by pressing any button to wake it up. When you turn on the device for the first time, the default mode is Auto, which massages the entire leg at intensity level 2. Works automatically on all areas: feet, calves, thighs and mode. In mode 1 only the feet are massaged, in mode 2 only the calves and in mode 3 only the thighs. The controller has an ergonomic design with simple and user-friendly buttons and icons. The controller unit LED display is quite intuitive, very easy to understand for those who don't read the instructions before use. It is important to ensure that the controller cable is firmly plugged in to power the device. Also, it can become so loose during use that it loses contact. The device isn't defective, just disconnected, just unplug it and then plug in the controller and cable and you're back in business. This model offers not one but 2 heating modes. Mode 1 offers a high temperature of 140℉ and Mode 2 a lower temperature of 120℉ in the knee area only. These adjustable temperatures and the ability to massage every part of the foot greatly enhance the therapeutic effects of foot massage. A very thoughtful accessory is a travel bag. It really helps to keep the workspace clean and is also quick and easy to take with you anywhere - just slip it in your suitcase or even carry it on your back! Sotion's customer support is excellent and they answer your email for help. . Unlike other competitors, every question I asked was answered quickly and in detail, never a simple answer like "Please read the included manual (fill in your problem) or call the service department". Sotion's customer service is definitely NOT a generic response bot when you need to chat with a real person on the other side. I would highly recommend this foot air massager to anyone with or without health issues.
