Apple doesn't recommend using AirTags on pets, but I honestly don't know why. This works very well. We have AirTags on every one of our dogs (and have since they were first released). This works very well. When my parents babysit the dogs, we know exactly where they are by checking the locator app on the iPhone. If dogs run away while approaching someone with an iPhone, we can determine the general region they are in (or notify people that they are lost and how to find us). These holders work well. They protect the AirTag very well. We've never had them fall out. The holder is stuck. No improvements are suggested.
