First, the thing is loud. Even at a speed of 70 km/h I can hear perfectly because of the wind. The sound is crisp and clear. Due to its design and size, it lacks a bit of bass and deep tones, but you can't expect that from any motorcycle sound system. Mid and high tones are clear and piercingly loud at full volume. (Nice thing, but I keep the volume a bit low because it's annoying). Clamps are the biggest problem. I have 1" bars but for some reason the 1" clamps are a bit loose. I can grab the bar and move it up and down. This bothered me because I didn't want the vibration to cause it to slip and get in the way of control. So far it hasn't been a problem and we have terrible roads here. I added some thin strips of rubber under the clamp for more "grip" and it helped a lot. The installation is quite easy. 4 wires included. (Red is power, black is ground, orange is ignition or "turn on" and blue is for another amp, but not needed by most people. The power and ground connectors fit under the battery post screws. I cut the blue wire short and stub end.The orange wire was connected to the tail light (running light, not the one controlled by the brake switch for obvious reasons.) Took about 25 minutes to install.This is a great unit and is all aluminum.Be careful with the clips around the soundbar, once fully tightened, they tend to bend the grille on the speaker, which can mean you can easily crush the tweeters around the home and garage.This is definitely a cool unit, but the price is a bit outrageous for a Bluetooth soundbar just because it mounts on a motorcycle.Quality mounting aside.Buy once, cry once in.
