when i bought it my LO was 5 months old. The giraffe and toe pads are my favorite part of this pack and my LO loves them. Everything is soft and feels comfortable in the hand. Fruits and bananas are dangerous for vomiting in my opinion since the fruit is small and the banana is long. When using them she would choke/gasp because she quickly put them in her mouth and they are so small. Maybe they do better with a smaller mouth at 4 months and younger. However, I would buy giraffe and fingertips separately and avoid fruit for 4 months or more. I would send them back and choose a different package if my dog hadn't eaten the giraffe lol
