The instruction manual is blurry and colorless; weak springs

I purchased this extra set specifically for the feathers, propeller and colorful stickers. I was disappointed that the instructions for use are suitable for adults and the instructions are vague. The images are usable, but not in color or in a child-friendly format. Each plug type has its own color. The kit provides it for color coding. I was expecting more of a Lego and Duplo guide. In addition, it is very difficult to separate plugs and extensions to change the configuration. Worst of all, one of the two springs broke the first time I tried to take it apart. I actually bought 2 different sets because I love kits of all kinds and was really looking forward to working on making moving gears with my grandchildren. The 60-piece starter set met my expectations. The parts are easy to connect and disconnect. The instructions are more detailed, but still not in color. None of the kits come with specific design ideas to encourage creativity.

Pros
  • DEVELOPMENT: Develop fine motor skills by developing thinking while kids experiment with movement; learning becomes more difficult as children's skills develop
Cons
  • Requires socket
