I replaced my polymeric pads with these ceramic pads and found that there was a problem after the standard baking process; namely, the resin particles introduced into the rotor are transferred to the new pads, resulting in noise. That's what you do BEFORE installing new pads, clean the rotors with alcohol to remove any old resin particles left on the rotor. Also, I've found that using water on pads during the sleepover (as some people suggest) makes things worse - loud squeaks. When this happened I had to remove the pads, clean and dry them to be able to brake silently again.
