First off, the 12 inch straight sided nonstick skillet is my favorite kitchen tool for cooking many dishes. This Dalstrong mount is thicker and better than the ubiquitous cheap Warp-o-matic T-Fal. But it has one major downside: the grip. It's metal with a closed end and doesn't dissipate heat well. When used in high temperature environments, the handle will become too hot to lift. Second, the handle has a square profile. Terrible design for a heavy pot that you might want to hold in one hand, tilt and use the other hand to scoop out the contents. A rounded hollow metal or neoprene handle really enhances this pan. It comes in a lot of useless and expensive "fancy" packaging. Strange. In 10 minutes all that packaging is going to landfill and productivity counts.
