Corrugated rod 22mm so big but not the biggest you can get. The waves are a little tighter which is exactly what I was looking for so this worked well for me. My hair is just below my shoulders. I like the white/rose gold coloring and the ability to change the heating temperature depending on the thickness of the hair. The waves go on and on. The second day I just sprayed some smoothening spray on it to soften the flying bits and I was done. Day three, still holding on, but it's time to wash your hair. I love this wand because it adds volume and texture to my hair. I will use it a lot!
