I was a bit hesitant to buy this bag as I wasn't sure if the inside measurements given on the description page would be big enough to fit in my old Kenmore which measures 16.5"(L) x 7.5"(W) x 13.5"(H). I was afraid I would lose the filament spool and filament However, my sewing machine fits in a bag with plenty of room!All four sides and the top of the bag are well padded and the handles are sturdy.The bottom is solid and I feel like it could hold my 20lb machine without it Can carry problems Front a pocket big enough to hold a pedal, small box of machine accessories, manual and any extra threads, needles etc. I am not disappointed with this purchase UPDATE January 2016: I have my review from 5 on 2 p changed. After carefully using my suitcase, transporting my car to work and back to my car, the inner lining is torn with holes in it and the foam padding is visible. The pad appears to be made of flimsy plastic and is not durable at all. I can tape the holes and the cover still cushions and protects my machine, but the cover is not made entirely of quality materials and is not strong enough to carry the sewing machine.
