Review on 🚙 Continental 4060967 OE Technology 6-Rib Multi-V Belt - 96.7-Inch by Brian Graham

I don't know why this product is now showing on the Revain vehicle inspection that it doesn't fit this car, even though it was stated prior to my order. In any case, it fits perfectly, as it should be. To my knowledge the Continental Elite is the same as the Goodyear Gatorback or the same manufacturer. The one I got was Goodyear. I've been dealing with belt squeaks for a while. The squeak occurs at startup until the car has reached operating temperature. Then he left, but came back again. Replaced belt tensioner, idler pulley, alternator, a/c compressor and went through at least 4 belts from various local auto parts stores. Then I figured it must be the compounds in the shops that bought the belts so the last OEM was from the dealer at a high price and still an embarrassing squeak. The only thing I could think of was the water pump. or power steering pulley. Took it to the mechanic and even he couldn't find the source of the squeak even with the mechanic's stethoscope. Used all tricks to calm the belt, but they were all short-lived. I finally settled on this belt after more research and am a very happy buyer. No squeaks after install which was 2 days ago and about 50 miles away. The belt itself seems very durable compared to all the others I've had. I am confident that the problem is solved and this belt will last a long time.
