Excellent quality, the best in belts, hoses and pulleys

I love continental quality belts, usually my first choice, even for a few bucks more. Spend a few bucks more on these belts, they last 50-80k miles. I installed this on a 5.7 Chevy after switching to a 140 amp alternator and it was tight but it took time.

Pros
  • Offers high altitude strength with shear strength
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This is an excellent serpentine belt

This is an excellent serpentine belt. It replaced the original belt which was in good condition but squeaked horribly. I took a chance ordering it even though the Revain product page said it didn't fit my car. The belt fits perfectly on my 1999 Chrysler Town and Country LXi with an A/C 3.8 V6 engine.

Pros
  • Made from certified material
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great Quailty Belts

Installed in my '99 Chevy Tahoe in March 2018, still looks like new and hasn't had a follow up or anything for almost 1 year, i will update it over time checking until i need to replace it. But I will say that this is the best belt I have ever bought and I will be buying it for my other cars soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BELT

Pros
  • Continental is an OE supplier to millions of domestic and imported vehicles
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Squeaks like a pig for belts, hoses and pulleys

Replaced a 70,000 mile Toyota Corolla belt that didn't squeak with this one. I checked the belt tension and even tightened it, but it still squeaks under load from a standstill. I will switch to another brand. There is nothing "elite" in it. Oh yes, all my pulleys spin freely. I don't have bad camps. This is a belt.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Even better than the previous Goodyear Gatorback version

This product was formerly the Goodyear Gatorback but this division has been sold to Continental and is now branded the Continental Elite. I felt that Continental improved an already great product; These belts have always been durable, but the new design with raised dots on the back of the belt eliminates (I think) the belt chirp on our vehicle.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Empty

Will not fit my 97 f 150 4.2L despite Amazon saying it would - I even tried skipping the air condenser/compressor pulley as it was starting to cool. Do yourself a favor and measure the length of your current strap and buy the right one the first time instead of taking Amazon's horrible "this part fits your car" guess function. They just want you to buy as many as possible.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No automatic

Exactly what the doctor ordered

I have a '99 Dodge Caravan that started to have problems with the serpentine belt squeaking and slipping when it got wet (TSB for this common issue). To avoid an expensive Gates replacement kit, I ordered a Dorman screen protector and this strap. Ordering this strap online cost the same as a "valuable" strap from AutoZone with no warranty, so I decided to wait a few days to get this strap in the mail (after the cheap new strap broke). on me). It was easy to install with a 5/8 box wrench. Thisโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Flaws

1997 2-door Chevy Tahoe 5.7L Vortec non-diesel engine with air conditioning.

I don't know why this product is now showing on the Revain vehicle inspection that it doesn't fit this car, even though it was stated prior to my order. In any case, it fits perfectly, as it should be. To my knowledge the Continental Elite is the same as the Goodyear Gatorback or the same manufacturer. The one I got was Goodyear. I've been dealing with belt squeaks for a while. The squeak occurs at startup until the car has reached operating temperature. Then he left, but came back againโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old
