I have a '99 Dodge Caravan that started to have problems with the serpentine belt squeaking and slipping when it got wet (TSB for this common issue). To avoid an expensive Gates replacement kit, I ordered a Dorman screen protector and this strap. Ordering this strap online cost the same as a "valuable" strap from AutoZone with no warranty, so I decided to wait a few days to get this strap in the mail (after the cheap new strap broke). on me). It was easy to install with a 5/8 box wrench. This belt seemed to fit noticeably tighter than even the new inexpensive belt I had previously purchased. I've only been using it for a few days but so far so good. Until it creaks and falls off. I hope this will be a reasonable long-term solution. I would order this belt again if needed and have a few days off to wait for delivery.
