This little bell is so well made. And it has such a pleasant bright sound that reverberates for a bit after being struck. It keeps me from having to startle walkers as I come up behind them on my bike. I even give it a few dings as I approach a windy path in case bikers coming towards me have not noticed me. The sound carries nicely well past the initial bell strike and gets pleasant attention - not annoyed looks - from people sharing the path. It can easily install in many different ways - I have it right next to my thumb so It is handy for a quick ring when needed. Great little dinger!
