Review on πŸ”§ OEMTOOLS 24388 Stretch Belt Mate Kit: Effortlessly Install, Remove, and Reuse Stretch Belts with Ease - Ideal for Automotive Applications by John Holliday

BREAKS IN HALF. BUY METAL VERSION.

PRO: Actual shape/design, fits tensioner belts on latest Bobcat series loader and backhoe diesel engines. I wanted my own set because (at work) I've used an identical set in METAL, dozens of times at work. But they are not always returned by some other techniques. And nothing works as easily and simply as these tools, especially if you plan to reuse the belt (belt is new after warranty repair). Removing/installing with a (dangerous) pry bar/blow on the starter will most likely damage the belt. CONS: Composite material (hard plastic) is NOT strong enough for the job. MUST buy metal. I broke my installer in half the second time I used it. I grabbed a metal one and the belt was put on. Two other technicians had similar experiences. FIND THE METAL VERSION. And learn how to use it, you will be happy. It is very difficult for these belts to run on a sharp pulley. Some guys do it without him all the time. But if you had to buy ONE broken belt, you could easily pay for a METAL tool. Do browse around. They have tool trolleys, however. $$$
