Bad design and technology. Save money and buy the best product.

I don't usually write reviews but this product was so disappointing I had to. I bought this to replace my old Brother P-Touch printer which served me well for many years but unfortunately died when the batteries in it exploded. This product was advertised as Bluetooth compatible and I was happy to be able to print labels from my computer. After receiving the product, I tried to connect it via Bluetooth several times and was able to get it to work, so I connected it with a cable to test. Before each printed label I spat out a 1" wide piece of tape. I tried adjusting the margins and settings to fix the problem but it seems to work. Eventually I called Brother to fix these problems and i was told that bluetooth is not compatible with bluetooth on computers and that you can only print labels wirelessly from a mobile phone what was your brother thinking then i was told that all machines that use TZE tape have this Print 1" piece of tape before each label. The only workaround they have is to print continuous labels and hand cut them. Who would want to buy a label marker that cuts each label and then manually cuts them? If only you want to print a label there is no way around it I also asked if you could use the old tapes that didn't have this problem on the new machines u And I've been told you can't. Also, I asked if they add 25% more tape to each cartridge due to the waste this design flaw creates and of course the answer was NO. Whoever designed and engineered this product and its accompanying tapes did not have the end user in mind. The tape is expensive, so who would waste it for nothing. This product will be back soon and I'm looking for a company to make the product more intuitive and user friendly.
