Bad design and technology. Save money and buy the best product.

I don't usually write reviews but this product was so disappointing I had to. I bought this to replace my old Brother P-Touch printer which served me well for many years but unfortunately died when the batteries in it exploded. This product was advertised as Bluetooth compatible and I was happy to be able to print labels from my computer. After receiving the product, I tried to connect it via Bluetooth several times and was able to get it to work, so I connected it with a cable to test. Beforeโ€ฆ

Absolutely awesome, but use the right app so you don't waste your feed!

Okay, I bought this as part of a general home organization and it's absolutely gorgeous: much better than the keyboards I've used before and well worth the money once you figure out how to disable its main function. Wrong function: useless tape! GREAT FEATURES: Has an internal rechargeable battery and can be easily controlled from your phone, allowing you to roam your home/office with it and label anything in sight with minimal effort (you really need to get used to the phone's rather clunkyโ€ฆ

Excellent label printer; Everything gets a label.

I had my brother's old portable label printer which was big, clunky and awkward to use. After a few years of use, I was fed up and decided to buy a modern label printer. I bought the PT-1230PC and still use it occasionally. This is way ahead of the portable label printers, but it still has disadvantages; mainly the fact that the power supply is not included and that the cutter is manual and not automatic. The print quality isn't as crisp as the P710BT either. As I said, I still use itโ€ฆ

Convenient and flexible with some moderate limitations

I bought this printer for basic product identification: things like serial numbers for the products I make. I chose it because it's wireless and tethered (if that's how you want to use it) and the Bluetooth interface allows me to programmatically generate labels, print them, and even cut them automatically. When I start making small batches of products, each requiring a unique label (due to changing serial numbers and MAC addresses), that's going to be cool. The built-in rechargeable batteryโ€ฆ
