Too much friction with cotton yarn
I ordered these bamboo hooks because they looked so pretty and I love wooden things. So far I've only tried a 3.5 hook with #3 cotton, but I found the hook wasn't smooth enough to work with cotton, so I replaced the hook with an aluminum one. Haven't tried it with plain yarn yet (just got it a few days ago!). The black case is convenient for storing them.
