When I was offered these sneakers it said "8.5B". I'm an 8.5 and have fairly wide flintstone feet so thought I'd give them a try. Well I need to measure the size to see if it fits me. In fact, they only come in narrow, wide, and very wide - so why advertise them as a B? Does it mean wide? In general, despite my square footage, I usually fit in "regular" (not narrow). They were too narrow - the frame area and toe box were narrow. Also, there was no more room beyond the big toe. On the plus side, there is significant arch support. I want these shoes to fit me perfectly but it can take a few tries to figure out if I need a wider 8.5, wide or extra wide 9 and that complicates and slows down the process. If the shoe suits you, you will like the features I think. Very light, almost weightless, with a durable sole. Flexible so you won't be pulled back by stiffness or weight as you walk. They hold up well and I'm just nerdy enough to appreciate that you don't have to tie the laces on these boots. As for the aesthetic, just look at the picture and decide for yourself. It is what it is - black mesh with a contrasting and smooth black texture at the throat and eyelets and a white heel. These shoes are not cheap, but good shoes are never cheap. If I could get a proper fit I would even consider it 5 stars.
