Review on Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho (128GB, 4GB): Crisp 6.5" HD+ Display & Generous Storage by Agata Tkaczyk ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not the best quality, but overall not bad.

I needed a reliable phone for business, so I settled on this one after contemplating models that had both NFC and huge batteries. I was able to get it for $9990, a discount. The phone's battery life is satisfactory, and even with heavy use and the screen's brightness turned down, a single charge will last for nearly a day. The survival rate at 15% is high enough to allow you to survive for at least a few more hours, and possibly more; I haven't checked. It takes longer to charge at a quick rate, but you end up saving time and money. Even while the screen isn't particularly fancy, I appreciate that a minor crack won't render it useless for the rest of my life, unlike with more expensive versions. I haven't tested it with any other demanding games, but EVE: Echoes pulls reasonably well. Freezing for short periods of time every once in a while (about a minute or two) is the biggest drawback in my opinion. It appears that insufficient RAM is to blame for Yakarta and 2gis taking forever to open, or failing to open at all; only restarting them will preserve your work. Without mobile data, finding a 4G network can take several minutes, and in certain cases, a phone reboot may be required. Though first impressions are favorable, it became challenging to find anything with NFC in St. Petersburg for ten thousand dollars.

Pros
  • Battery, increased cost, and lightning-fast charging
Cons
  • A mere 3 GB is insufficient.
