Subaru Forester XT 2004 5 Speed So my radiator cracked and I had to buy a new radiator. At this price, you can't beat a Mishimoto cooler. Got $280 shipped compared to $330 at other retailers. Let's start with the fact that there were no screws in the kit to connect the fans. For those who need it, M6 thread. A nipple bolt on the filler neck prevents the radiator cap from opening. I welded it after the thread was stripped. The problem is that both the thread and the screw are aluminum so they broke fairly quickly and easily. By simply unscrewing the screw, I made a large hole in the filler neck. So be careful with that. Otherwise everything works wonderfully. It fitted, everything fitted as it should, livens up the engine compartment and is apparently easier or better cooled. I don't watch my car or anything, so I doubt I'll see/feel that effect. I highly recommend this if your cooler fails. It's about 150 for a new OEM. Why not spend a little more and never worry about that plastic waste?
