Best Disappointment Internal SSDs

I'll start this review by stating that I had never heard of Kimtigo before receiving this NVME drive for review. I usually only buy big brands for my hard drives because it's one of the last things I want to be cheap on. I value my data more than saving a few bucks. In any case, I'm not so naive as not to realize that the components can be the same as those from famous brands, so I try to keep an open mind on them. or replace an existing one) - External (via USB-A or USB-C ports, the latter is recommended) Speed depending on the port where we install it (maybe x2). In my case, I don't have any empty slots on either my desktop or laptop, and I won't take out an SSD to try inside as all my NVME drives are larger and better quality. So I tested it outside, via a USB-C cable and an external Sabrent. case I used before. For reference, all my PCI 3.0x4s were around 800 MB/s on both reads and writes. In this case, I get about half that speed, and that's really disappointing. Testing the speed by transferring a very large file to and from this drive (the other one was one of my very fast NVMEs) and the average transfer speed I got was around 300MB/s which is below average for this type of hard drive. Maybe I got a bad one? May be. In any case, I cannot recommend this SSD for such poor performance figures. Verdict: It's cheap, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
