I have to agree with Matthew S. This product should NOT be used for direct feeding. My Kenya Tree polyps immediately closed from fear of this product. Although my favia coral responded well to feeding, there was noticeable tissue damage within minutes of feeding. The offshoot used to be a beautiful green colour. But when this product touched it directly, the split lost its color and actually appeared to dissolve some of its carbonate body. I would definitely be very careful with this product if you are feeding the coral directly. Although I have only just received this product I will be discontinuing it immediately in favor of another brand of phytoplankton and zooplankton that I purchased from my local fish store. The picture isn't very clear, but you really can't miss the big, ugly, dissolving pink stain on the coral.
