If you like a challenge, this is it. My son wanted to build a robot for his school's science fair this year and now that he's 10 and loves to build we thought it would be awesome. We only opened the box to find out you have to go online to get directions because if it were in print you'd only need a box for a book on how to do it. Based on the listing we thought it would be a good first build if you put it together and use the remote to control it. NO, it's not that simple. You build a small area and then hook it up to a computer and program part of it; then create more and program more. I know my kids and I know he can build this, but I wish the description was a little clearer about how many programs you need to know before buying this. Neither my son nor I have ever programmed so there will be a learning curve. The description should be clearer and inform parents that a computer is needed to put them together.
