Definitely not a US military surplus!
I'm sorry which military these bottles were for. These are certainly not the sturdy, thick and massive 90's US Army canteens with lids that I have come to know and love! This is more in line with the quality of the costume, but as they say I found a use for them anyway. The first thing to do is to tear off the supplied metal clips and make a loop for the paracord belt. Then it can be used.
