Good concept to make two identical mugs. Unfortunately, the spouts are so low that regular coffee cups don't fit underneath. Very short cups that fit under the spouts are usually too large in diameter to fit into the grooves in the base, preventing the spouts from hanging over the cups and thereby spilling coffee on the counter. The base must be at least 1 inch higher to be used for US size (8 oz or larger) coffee mugs. If you place two 8-ounce or larger mugs under the spouts, the base will detach from the counter and rest on the spouts, causing the mugs to tip over as soon as you place the AeroPress on the unit. Don't buy it now. My guess is that the manufacturer will understand the design flaw and will make the base taller so it can be used in a household where people use mugs larger than 6 ounces. Give them a few months to fix the design flaw. I'm sure if the base is higher it will be five stars.
