I recommend screwing in a few fasteners to hold the parts in place.
This adhesive has good adhesion. I used it to glue 2 wooden boards together. If you plan on doing something like this, make sure you use pressure clamps and hold it there for a couple of hours. I left my clips for 24 hours to make sure they were completely dry. I don't know how many pounds per square inch a bundle can hold, but I can't seem to be able to force two boards apart with my hands by gently pulling on them. If you plan on hanging things on the boards in such a way that they will tear apart, I recommend screwing in some fasteners to hold the pieces together,
