I've been buying Saucony Cohesion shoes for years as they are cheap and offer really good support and cushioning when running. When I received Saucony Cohesion 11, I noticed that the overall design had changed dramatically. Not only are the uppers (and shoes in general) lighter, they now have flat laces. (Note: the new material creaks a bit where the tongue rubs against the laces.) The shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. However, after a little over a week of running, they failed for their intended purpose: running. Besides the new upper materials, Saucony also seems to have made the shoe lighter by reducing the amount of cushioning in the shoe. one and only. After about a week of running (only about 40 miles) my knees, shins and ankles started to hurt. In older Cohesion running shoes, similar fatigue started after about 2.5 months or more. Unfortunately, the "improved" design appears to be in looks only, not performance. Luckily, Revain takes these shoes back because after less than 10 socks, they're not worth keeping. As a regular Saucony customer, I hope other types of running shoes don't suffer in the same way. -star rating). However, if you are looking for a good road running shoe with good cushioning and cushioning, I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
