The only reason it's odd is because I'm a male, and it obviously will fit differently to my body. But I am 5'6 with a women's 33"waist and I ordered XL to be safe, but I could've gone with the LG. I love the way these feel. So breezy and comfortable, I'll be taking them to Mexico, and can't wait to wear them in the summer. Of course your legs will fall out of the pants but you feel so free it doesn't even matter. UPDATE*** These looked great and didn't fall out of them quite like I expected, I definitely want more colors now!
