I have a coffee shop. For the preparation of coffee and espresso, 2kg x 0.1g is a kind of magic number for a scale that can: 1) Tare with a portafilter and measure espresso dose 2) Measure the weight of espresso extracted 3) Individual doses for weighing manual brewing or large doses for batch brewing4) Tare using a beaker/Chemex etc and measure the weight of the water in the pour over brew method.For us this scale has proved to be just the right size and more robust than others we've tried.
