Great that it's reversible. Imperial on one side and customs on the other. The lines are clearly marked and precise! Corresponds exactly to my lines. Very heavy/thick which means it will stay in place when cutting. White on black acts as a high contrast and stands out sharply from the fabric or paper above. I like it much better than yellow on green, red on white, or gray on gray, all of which I have in different sizes. I use rotary cutters and precision knives on mats for quilting, layering, and model making, and I can't wait to use a few of these and see how "self-healing" they are. Both sides have different angle arrangements, making it easy to find the right spot for precise cutting. Why did I wait so long to buy an imperial grid line rug? Should have bought a year ago! The metric system is much simpler than the imperial system.
