There isn't a size label on this. I have no idea if I got the large or medium. It says the large is for 45-75lbs. I guess I'll have to remember it's only good up to 75lbs in 5 years from now when they outgrow it. Fingers crossedThere's no US coast guard label either. In most states, the law is that all children under the age of 12 must wear a coast guard approved life jacket. The coast guard approval will be labeled on the life jacket. Hundreds for the fine of they check. Also think safety and quality testing standards. Will it slip off under a certain condition? Will it become waterlogged? Buckle stay together under pressure? I don't know.
