These are cheap shoes so I didn't have high hopes for them. I was positively surprised. These shoes are comfortable and breathe well. The sole is really soft and comfortable. I usually use insoles in my boots, but I didn't need them in these shoes. Perhaps due to the softness of the sole, it will wear out faster, but time will tell. So far I've worn them for a while while walking and working in the garden. They held up well on my slippery grass hill and my feet never felt hot despite the temperature outside. The fit around the ankle is a bit odd but other than that they fit well. I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 and my feet are a bit wider. I have 11 in it and they fit perfectly.
