My new MacBook Pro had its first crash today. The outer hull of this hull held up very well. Just a few cuts and some of them appear to have "healed". However, the protective film is not as protective. Deep chip on the screen glass. The protective film could be stronger. Too bad I didn't buy a dragon glass protector. I would like to remind you that the keyboard protector is not transparent but translucent and the problem is that it sticks in some places but not in others. This makes the keyboard look weird. Tapping on it also requires some relearning. I'm a blind typist and I make all sorts of unusual mistakes. The keyboard cover isn't exactly protective either - I got some water underneath and on the keys and I panicked for a moment. Luckily my keyboard wasn't damaged by the water. The rubber feet on the bottom of the case are nice and grippy and keep the laptop securely in place. Overall I am satisfied. The transparent outer shell adds a very nice shine to the look of my laptop and feels quite protective. UPDATE: The keyboard cover is now deformed instead of the spacebar. I also found that its milky translucency (rather than pure transparency) made it difficult to see the keys at certain angles. I still have trouble typing like I used to, so it takes me longer to complete a sentence. I'll probably buy an extra keyboard cover that will also protect the fragile touchpad and better hold the keys to avoid warping.
