I use these gloves in boxing club training about 3 times a week and work for it. This can cause serious injury, but don't expect great protection for your carpal tunnel, wrist, and palm. To do this, you need to invest in the best quality. However, if you are just training instead of fighting, or wearing boxing gloves for boxing for the first time, then buy them! I'm sure I'm glad I bought them. One day they came off the elastic and I had to go to the local dry cleaner to have them seeded for me.
