Not worth the risk to try them

I am a beginner and these gloves should not be used by anyone. They crumble on their own, after trying them on I sent them back without using them on my bag - I knew they would be an injury waiting in the wings. I have a pair of Hayabusa gloves instead, they're $$ if you're going to hit anything at all.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

Good gloves for the price.

Better than workshop gloves. Good protection and protects my wrist. I have small hands and they worked well. My only complaint is that I tried ordering the 12oz. gloves and they would charge me a 14 ounce return shipping fee. what I ordered by mistake. Therefore, pay attention to the weight of the gloves when ordering. I saved 14 ounces. and so far they are fine.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • ugly packaging

started kickboxing a year and a half ago. After 8 months with MMA gloves I switched to these boxing gloves. I was initially very happy with the product, but after a few months of use, the strap on the right glove gave way every 2-3 hits when opening, until it was no longer possible to train with it. So it's a good buy for those who can't workout more than 1-2 times a week, but even then it won't last more than 6 months. Maybe my expectations are high, but I think boxing gloves should last a few

Buy these if you want to break your wrist

These gloves are very poorly made. The inside is like thin nylon and after just two weeks, holes in the thumb hole started to appear. There are scratches on the ankles due to the uncomfortable material and lack of cushioning in the upper. The worst thing is, it's a wrist clasp. The velcro is weak and the strip is not long enough. As a result, as other reviewers have pointed out, the Velcro sometimes comes off completely on impact. It's terrible on the wrist and completely breaks my focus. I…

Gloves are perfect for hitting a light bag

I purchased the 14 oz black gloves and they fit all 4 of my family comfortably. My youngest 12 year old boy, they are a bit big but not too big to still enjoy and smack them. They have enough padding and are comfortable for all of us and none of us use bandages as we have never boxed before just thought it would be fun to do an aerobic workout by hitting the bag. The Velcro closure also makes them very easy to put on and take off. These gloves have a chemical odor, but in boxing you don't…

Great buy for training

I use these gloves in boxing club training about 3 times a week and work for it. This can cause serious injury, but don't expect great protection for your carpal tunnel, wrist, and palm. To do this, you need to invest in the best quality. However, if you are just training instead of fighting, or wearing boxing gloves for boxing for the first time, then buy them! I'm sure I'm glad I bought them. One day they came off the elastic and I had to go to the local dry cleaner to have them seeded for…

Get the job done for beginners

Not the best quality glove for the price. Haven't noticed too much damage after 6 months of use 3 days a week but some spots are a bit cracked. Not too much ventilation but gets the job done, sometimes the support is a bit flimsy. I bought these because I was in a beginner class so I just needed something to keep me going. I would recommend them to anyone taking boxing classes to work out or pounding the bag at the gym. Actually learn to box, spend about $60 more and get a good pair. I gave 3…

Great Gloves - Other Sports

I'm 26 years old, 1.60m tall and I train in MMA. I bought 14 ounces because 16 ounces can be overwhelming at times. At 14 ounces I can punch longer and feel more contact on the punch. My favorite feature is the mesh on the inside of the palm. Holy cow, gloves can get rough and smelly, but I have high hopes for them! Decent wrist brace, I always wear bandages underneath. Haven't used them too much on a heavy bag just for percussion practice. I am currently not training as hard as I used to, I…
