I bought this set to expand my current Tiny Tales cage because the cage is too small (I'm a new owner so I'm still learning what a hamster needs and likes). As for the product, it's worth noting that this is *technically* a 94-piece set, but note that each pipe and corner piece is split into two pieces and counts as one. The connecting rings actually hold the two halves together. Just be aware that if the name is misleading, you won't get many tubes. Number 94 also includes every little plug and clip. The tube fittings are not for the Tiny Tales (PetSmart) brand, which is definitely not a product defect, just a note for those who want to do the same. (see photos). They seem to fit, if you apply pressure they fall apart. This is easily changed by stretching several layers of tape over the inside of the fitting, trimming off any excess (so the ham can't chew through the excess) and flattening it. The pieces sit well and fit after about 5 coats. The rating does not reflect this. There are an uncomfortable number of corner/side/cross connectors for the number of walls they contain. The different number is clearly not intended for all parts, which is fine, but when it comes to wall parts/connections it would be nice if there was some intention. For example there are a lot of walls in the kit so ideally I would like to make a very large extra room or make 2 separate ones but for that you need to buy another set of pipes which seems to be their purpose. I'm leaving 3 stars for the seemingly ill thought out quantity, intentionally or not, and for the fact that these tubes cost as much as they do since the plastic is so cheap. Plastic is fine, but asking so much for it is ridiculous.
