The color is not quite the same as in the photo (a little less pastel in real life), but very similar. If you want to mix it with wall paint like I did, the blue looks really pretty with Glidden Marine Blue. It's also a good size and very soft. My only complaint is that it's not very fluffy. It looks more like a lightweight summer quilt than an all season quilt. I've yet to use it in the middle of winter so can't say for sure how it's holding up yet, but honestly it's great otherwise. So if I get cold, I'll probably just turn on the heat or buy a blanket (I also live in Texas where "cold" is relative, so if you live up north and are looking for something heavy, you might still have to think once). On the plus side, it's not fluffy and fits in a standard size washing machine, making it easy to clean!
